- Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Rooster Poultry, referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “Rooster” or “the Promoter”. - Competition Name
The competition is called the 20th Anniversary Snap It Challenge and forms part of Rooster Poultry’s 20th Anniversary Celebration under the theme:
“Proudly Fijian, Proudly Yours” - Competition Period
Entries open on Friday, 21 August (9am) and close on Sunday, 20 September (5pm).
Winners will be announced through Rooster’s official channels on Monday, 5 October, unless otherwise advised by Rooster.
Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted. - Eligibility
This competition is open to all Fiji residents aged 18 years and above.
Participants must submit their own entry through the official online campaign form on the Rooster website.
Employees, contractors, suppliers, agencies, promotional partners and immediate family members of Rooster or any party directly involved in administering or managing the competition are not eligible to enter.
Rooster may request proof of identity, age, residency or eligibility before confirming any winner. - No Purchase Required
No purchase is required to enter.
Participants are to take a photo with the Rooster Wholebird packaging at their nearest supermarket where the packaging is clearly visible.
A purchase receipt is not required.
Participants taking photos must follow supermarket rules and must not obstruct staff, customers or store operations.
Participants must not open, damage or tamper with product packaging for the purpose of taking a photo. - How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
Take a photo with the Rooster Wholebird packaging clearly visible.
Submit the photo through the official online campaign form on the Rooster website.
Complete all required participant details.
Confirm that they are a Fiji resident aged 18 years or above.
Accept the Privacy Statement and Terms and Conditions.
Each participant must submit only one entry. Duplicate, automated, false or bulk entries will be disqualified. Incomplete entries will be rejected.
- Photo Requirements
Photos must clearly show the Rooster Wholebird packaging, with the entrant as the main person featured in the image.
Entries must not include:
group photos or photos featuring children
offensive gestures
unsafe behaviour
nudity or inappropriate clothing
abusive, discriminatory or unlawful content
alcohol, drugs, weapons or smoking-related content
false, misleading or heavily altered images
third-party brand prominence that may confuse the promotion
content that may damage Rooster’s reputation.
Other people may appear incidentally in the background, provided they are not the focus of the photo and the image remains suitable for public use.
- Rooster reserves the right to reject any image where another person is prominently featured, identifiable in a sensitive context, or has not reasonably consented to appear.
Rooster may reject any entry that is unclear, inappropriate, offensive, misleading, unsafe, corrupted, incomplete or unable to be properly reviewed. - Winner Selection
Each valid submission will be entered into a draw where winners will be selected through a random name generator.
The draw will only include entries that meet the eligibility and photo requirements.
Rooster may conduct verification checks before confirming winners. The Promoter’s decision on eligibility, entry validity and winner selection is final. - Prizes and Winner Notification
Prizes may include:
fuel vouchers
Jacks of Fiji gift cards
Bags of Rooster Chicken
other approved prize items
Prizes are subject to availability and are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless Rooster states otherwise.
Rooster reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or similar value if required.
Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry.
If a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) working days or fails verification, Rooster may select another winner.
Rooster is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete or outdated contact details submitted by participants. - Use of Entries and Publicity
By entering, participants agree that Rooster may use their submitted photo for competition administration, judging, draw management and campaign-related purposes.
Selected entries and winner content may be used across:
Rooster social media channels
Rooster website
winner announcements
digital advertising
in-store or campaign displays
media and public relations materials
future promotional materials connected to this campaign
Rooster will not publish private contact details.
Submission of an entry does not guarantee that the photo will be published or featured by Rooster.
Rooster may request additional consent before publishing or using selected entries. - Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information collected through the competition will be used only for competition administration, eligibility checks, winner contact, prize delivery, draw management and approved campaign publicity.
Rooster will take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure and limit access to authorised personnel only.
Personal information will be kept only for as long as reasonably required to administer the competition, complete prize handovers, manage approved publicity and meet reasonable recordkeeping needs. - Disqualification
Rooster may disqualify any entry that:
is submitted late
is incomplete
contains false or misleading information
does not meet eligibility requirements
does not clearly show the Rooster Wholebird packaging
contains offensive, unsafe, discriminatory or inappropriate content
appears copied, fake, manipulated or falsely submitted
breaches any law, platform rule or these Terms and Conditions
may bring Rooster or the competition into disrepute - Technical Issues
Rooster is not responsible for failed uploads, website errors, network issues, device problems, lost entries, corrupted files or other technical failures outside its reasonable control.
Participants are responsible for ensuring their entry is successfully submitted before the closing date and time. - Competition Integrity
Rooster reserves the right to verify entries, request additional information, check eligibility and reject any entry that may affect the fairness or integrity of the competition.
Rooster may reject entries affected by tampering, automated submission, technical manipulation or any attempt to interfere with the competition process.
Rooster may amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances outside its control affect the fair or proper running of the competition.
Any changes will be communicated through Rooster’s official channels. - Liability
Rooster will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, technical issue, failed submission, incorrect information or communication failure connected with participation in the competition.
Uploaded files must not be password-protected, corrupted, unsafe or contain unrelated content. Rooster may reject any file that cannot be opened or safely reviewed. - Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. - Privacy Statement
Rooster Poultry will collect the information submitted through this form for the purpose of administering the Snap It Challenge, which forms part of Rooster Poultry’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.
The information collected may include the participant’s name, contact number, email address, town or province, location where the selfie was taken, submitted photo, consent confirmations and competition entry details.
Rooster will use this information only to receive and manage entries, verify eligibility, confirm that entrants are Fiji residents aged 18 years and above, contact winners, award prizes, manage the online draw and prepare approved campaign-related publicity.
Rooster will not publish private contact details.
By submitting an entry, the participant agrees that Rooster may use the submitted photo, first name, general location and entry details for campaign-related promotional purposes, including social media, website, winner announcements, digital advertising and related campaign material.
Submitted entries and personal information will only be accessed by authorised persons involved in administering, validating, managing or promoting the competition. Rooster will take reasonable steps to keep the information secure and protect it from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
Personal information will be kept only for as long as reasonably required to administer the competition, complete prize handovers, manage approved publicity and meet reasonable recordkeeping needs.
By completing this form, the participant confirms that the information provided is true and accurate. - Automatic Confirmation Message
