The Opportunity: Excavator Operator
Be Part of Powering Safe, Sustainable and Reliable Operations at Rooster Poultry.
Rooster Poultry is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Excavator Operator to support our site works, farm operations, infrastructure projects, drainage maintenance and environmental management across our Ba and Lautoka facilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring uninterrupted operations, safe work environments, and efficient land management that supports our livestock and production activities.
Key focus areas:

Carry out excavation tasks including trenching, land clearing, digging foundations & preparing work sites.

Perform precision excavation using guides, GPS or laser systems where required.
-
Load and unload materials, debris, soil and aggregates to support operational needs.
-
Conduct daily pre-start checks and operate machinery safely at all times.
-
Perform routine maintenance including fluid checks, greasing and reporting faults early.
-
Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures consistently.
-
Maintain accurate logs for machine hours, fuel usage and maintenance.
What we are looking for:
-
Year 10–12 education level.
-
Valid Group 6 & 9 licence (mandatory).

At least 3 years’ experience operating excavators/heavy machinery.
-
Strong safety awareness, attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
-
Reliable, disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.
-
Landscaping or site maintenance experience is an advantage.

The Opportunity: Health, Safety & Environment Manager
Lead the Culture of Safety and Sustainability at Rooster Poultry. We are seeking a Proactive, Solutions-Focused Safety Champion to take charge of our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy across our operations. Based in Ba, this critical role ensures the Wellbeing of our People, ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards, and embedding Proactive Risk Management practices throughout the business and our Commitment to Environmental Responsibility throughout Fiji.
Key focus areas:

Lead and Champion a Culture of Safety and Wellbeing across all levels of the organization.

Identify, Assess, and Mitigate Operational Risks to prevent Workplace Incidents and Injuries.

Ensure Regulatory Compliance with all local labour laws and best international HSE standards.

Design, Implement, and rigorously oversee all Health & Safety Programs, Policies & SOP Compliance.

Lead Workplace Incident Investigations and Perform Root Cause Analysis driving immediate Corrective and robust Preventative actions to achieve the targets for (LTIs) and (TRIR).

Collaborate strategically with all departments to promote a proactive Occupational Health & Safety mindset and culture to integrate effective risk mitigation practices.
What we are looking for:

A strategic thinker with hands-on experience in HSE leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations and environmental standards.

Exceptional attention to detail, a strong desire for continuous process improvement, and the ability to champion change.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.

The Opportunity: Graduate Accountant / Audit & Risk Officer
Strengthen Governance, Compliance, and Risk Assurance at Rooster Poultry.
We are seeking a high-potential, detail-driven Graduate Accountant / Audit & Risk Officer to support our Audit & Risk team in delivering strong internal controls, accurate reporting, and sound risk management across the business. Based in Ba, this role provides hands-on exposure to auditing, data analysis, compliance monitoring, and internal investigations, building a solid foundation for future leadership in accounting, audit, or risk.
Key focus areas:

Support the execution and coordination of Audit & Risk activities across all departments.

Assist in the audit planning cycle, including scoping proposed internal audits.

Prepare well-structured audit reports based on findings, exceptions, and recommendations.

Assist with investigations into suspected fraud, irregularities, or escalated concerns.

Assess the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and internal control systems across operations.

Conduct internal audits on finance, operations, risk, compliance, and inventory stock controls.

What we are looking for:

The Opportunity: Motor Rewinder Assistant
Support Safe, Reliable & Efficient Operations at Rooster Poultry
We are seeking a hands-on, technically inclined Motor Rewinder Assistant to assist in the repair, rewinding, and maintenance of electric motors across our operations. This role ensures the reliability of key equipment and supports our commitment to efficient, safe, and continuous operations.
Key focus areas:

Assist with dismantling, rewinding, assembling, and testing electric motors.

Prepare components including cleaning, stripping, insulating, and varnishing.
-
Support coil winding, baking, balancing, and other workshop processes.
-
Assist in diagnosing electrical faults in single-phase and three-phase motors.
-
Maintain workshop tools and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
-
Follow electrical safety procedures and workshop standards.
-
Assist with documentation including repair logs, job cards, and maintenance updates.
-
Support preventive maintenance schedules as directed.
What we are looking for:
-
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn motor rewinding processes.
-
1–2 years’ experience in motor rewinding, electrical workshops, or maintenance.

Certificate in Electrical Fitting, Motor Rewinding, or Electrical Trade.
-
Trade Test certification is an added advantage.
